Miriam Gamble
Miriam Gamble teaches creative writing at Queen’s University, Belfast, where she recently completed her PhD. She won an Eric Gregory Award in 2007, and has had poems published with The Rialto, Tower Poetry and Fortnight; her work has also appeared in a number of anthologies including Voice Recognition: 21 Poets for the 21st Century (Bloodaxe). She enjoys reviewing and feature writing, and has worked in this capacity for Fortnight, the New Statesman and culturebase.net. Her first full-length collection, 'The Squirrels are Dead' is due out in June 2010.
